“What Your Business Needs to Know About Making Good Decisions”
Zachary Collier
President, Collier Research Systems
Running a business involves making decisions. But decision making can be difficult for a number of reasons – uncertainty about the future, the need to make tough trade-offs, stakeholders with competing objectives, and the need to analyze messy data. And once you have made a decision, how do you know whether it was a good decision or a bad one? This talk will cover principles and tools that you can use to make high quality decisions that will help you achieve your organizational objectives, reduce risks, and navigate uncertainties.

Many thanks to Kilaurwen Winery for hosting Chamber members and their guests at their beautiful tasting room. This event is complimentary for Chamber members.
Our Story
Kilaurwen Winery is an intergenerational family enterprise named after our three daughters, Kimberlee, Laura and Wendy. Since 1994, we have grown wine grapes for many of Virginia’s finest wineries and still do. In 2009, we began crafting our own artisanal wines that capture the unique spirit and characteristics of the Monticello region.
Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, only 8 miles from the Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, our winery offers spectacular views and a relaxing setting in which to enjoy fine wine and a picnic with family and friends.
