The Chamber Board is currently seeing applications for an administrative assistant to help with the day to day administration of the Chamber.

The Administrative Assistant is paid as an Independent Contractor (1099). The Chamber does not provide any benefits such as unemployment insurance, health insurance or worker’s compensation insurance to Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing all tools and materials required for performance of the tasks agreed to, including but not limited to a computer and phone. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for payment of all federal, state and local income taxes.
The following services shall be performed on an average of 15 hours per week, at a rate of $15 per hour. Time in 15 minute increments with tasks noted to be reported to the treasurer monthly with a copy to the president at the end of each month. Payment to processed no later than 15 days after receipt of the invoice
Work closely with the Treasurer on bookkeeping and other financial responsibilities required for 501(c)(3) status.
Maintain current membership database
Plan and execute events in conjunction with the Board, including pre-logistics, day of facilitating and
Parade of Light
Quad County Business Summit (in partnership with the EDA)
Actively reach out to potential members
Dynamically maintain social media
Work with webmaster to maintain website
Attend monthly Chamber Board meetings
Prepare and publish monthly electronic newsletter
Responsibility for monitoring and answering Chamber phone line during regular business hours
Responsible for maintaining records retention of electronic and hard copy records
Collect mail from mailbox at a minimum of once a week
We may at some time request that you take these duties over from the Secretary:
Prepare minutes of monthly Chamber Board meetings
Prepare agenda and materials for Chamber Board meetings in conjunction with President
