Greene County Historical Society Holiday Open House
2 pm ——– Program at the Rhodes Gallery–360 Main Street
“ROOTS OF GREENE COUNTY” is a presentation to
be presented by award winning photographer PAT
TEMPLES. The ROOTS are to be TREE ROOTS
OF GREENE. Pat has pictures of remarkable trees
of Greene and stories to accompany them.
*REFRESHMENTS TO FOLLOW IN THE MUSEUM.
CROSSWORD PUZZLE—-about Historic Stanardsville.
Pick up the puzzle sometime during the day at the Museum.
Pavilion, 4pm-7pm
*Santa and Mrs. Claus will be joining for photos and greetings at the Greene Commons Pavilion from 4pm-7pm.
*William Monroe High School Marching Band will start playing at 5:30pm.
*Tree lighting at 6pm with Mayor Lowe.
*The Greene County Parks & Rec team will have some fun activities for the kids!
County Building, 4pm-7pm
The 4th of July Barrel Train will be decked out for the season and providing rides for the children!
Lights on Main, 5-7pm
Festive light displays by local area businesses and organizations.

PARKING INFORMATION:
There are plenty of parking spots in Stanardsville. We encourage people to park at PVCC, the United Bank/Greene County Record Lot and William Monroe parking lot to walk to the events around town. The lower lot of the county administration building will be reserved for handicapped parking ONLY. The upper lot of the county administration building will be closed for the 4th of July barrel train-all aboard!
