The Greene County Chamber of Commerce Nominating Committee chaired by Julia Roberts, 2018 Chair of the board, is accepting nominations to the board of directors for terms beginning January 1, 2019.
The board of directors is responsible for setting the Chamber’s strategic direction, both now and in the future. Members of the board meet 10 times per year and actively participate in the Chamber’s meetings/social/events throughout the year. The chamber seeks candidates with a passion for the Chamber and knowledge of the local business community, who have the time to serve actively.
Nominations must be received at the Chamber office by 5 p.m. on Friday, September 7, 2018 and should be submitted on the official GreeneCOC 2018 Nomination Form. If you are unable to access the form, please contact our administrative office at email@example.com
The Nominating Committee will interview all nominees to fill the one available position to serve a two year term as an elected director of the Greene County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. An electronic ballot will be sent out prior to the annual meeting in December to all members in good standing. The candidate with the greatest number of votes shall be declared elected.
