Blue Ridge School hosts social

The Blue Ridge School, located in St. George, VA, at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, hosted the Greene County Chamber of Commerce's "Ice Cream Social" in early June.  Despite heavy rains, the event, which was capped by a make-your-own sundae bar, attracted approximately 20 members and guests.

Dr. David Bouton, headmaster of the school, welcomes Chamber guests into his home, the Martha Bagby Battlehouse, which is on the state and national lists for historic landmarks.

A group of Chamber members enjoy the hors d'ouvres and some networking prior to partaking in the "ice cream" portion of the social.
