Business Summary:

The Greene County Sheriff's Office is a 24 hour sheriff's office responsible for providing primary law enforcement services to its citizens. Deputies are tasked with, but not limited to, answering calls for service, serving civil process papers, patrol, traffic/DUI enforcement, providing security to the courtrooms, prisoner transports, and investigating minor crimes. The Investigative Division is assigned serious crimes such as: homicides, sexual assaults, grand larcenies and narcotics. Deputies are also trained in specialize fields such as: search and rescue, (SWAT) Tactical Operations and Dive/Rapid Water Rescue.
