Business Summary:

UVA-WorkMed is an Occupational Health and Wellness specialty clinic within the University of Virginia Health System. Our purpose is to provide work-related medical services needed by employers and benefitting their employees. We have the capability to deliver expedited, single point of care for work injuries and access to comprehensive care needs through the UVA Health System. Services include: Immunizations (including Influenza, Tetanus, Hepatitis A & B, Rabies, Measles/ Mumps/Rubella, Varicella, and others as needed within our scope of practice); tuberculosis screening; workers' compensation injury management; pre-hire and annual physicals; tailored physicals; fitness for duty evaluations; drug screening (including medical review officer services); environmental/ infectious disease exposure management; blood and body fluid exposure management; independent medical evaluations; respirator fit testing; wellness screenings; educational classes; audiometric screening; and, pulmonary function testing.

Additionally, UVA-WorkMed can deliver many of these services on-site, at our clients' place of business, increasing employee participation through convenience.
