We are proud to present the 11th Annual Parade of Lights co-sponsored by the Town of Stanardsville. Come join this magical celebration on Saturday, December 3rd at 4:30pm. There are several other events happening around the county on the 3rd to help get everyone in the holiday spirit, so we have listed below a full rundown of ALL the events.
Saturday, December 3
9 a.m. -12 p.m. Wreath Making Workshop at Chamber Member Kilaurwen Winery!
10 a.m. Breakfast with Santa at Chamber Member Lafayette Inn, Stanardsville.
10 a.m.-3 p.m. 4-H Holiday Open House, Greene County Extension Office, Stanardsville.
2:00-5:00 p.m. Wine Tasting & Silent Auction benefiting the Madison-Greene Humane Society, Marty’s Wine Cellar, Ruckersville.
2:00-4:00 p.m. Book Signing, JoJo Brooks Shifflett author of A Lumbee Gershom, Greene County Historical Society, Stanardsville.
4:30 p.m. Main Street and all incoming roads closed between Monroe Drive and Blakey Avenue. Guests with mobility issues may want to arrive early for closer parking.
4:30-5:30 p.m. Chamber Member On-Sight Optical to provide free hot cocoa, while supplies last.
4:30-5:30 p.m. Sombreros Restaurant to provide complimentary nachos to first 200 people, they will be open for dinner!
4:30-5:30 p.m. Legacy Church Worship Team will be performing Christmas songs to get everyone in the spirit!
4:30-5:30 p.m. the 4H International Club will be selling cocoa, coffee and cookies, come support this wonderful local organization.
5:30 p.m. And they are off! 11th Annual Parade of Lights, Main Street, Stanardsville.
6:30 p.m. Tree Lighting at Stanardsville Town Hall.
6:30 p.m. Visits with Santa at Town Hall.
7:00 p.m. Streets opened back up.
7:30 p.m. Christmas with the Deane’s, Free Concert, William Monroe High School, Stanardsville.
